Stupid Red Tape!!!!!!

Avva went to the doctor today. The doctor measured Avva and found that she had grown almost 2 inches since Jan. 20. She said that is NOT NORMAL at all. There are only 2 times in your whole life that someone would grow that much in such a short amount of time. And that is birth to 2 yrs old and the other time is when puberty begins. So she said it is a for sure thing that she needs the shots now. She was suppose the administered the shot today, but Scott & White has made some changes and any injections that are not a normal injections(which Avva's kind is not the normal)have to be approved by Scott & White(our insurance) and when the approval comes in the patient has to get the injection(a $500 injection, a month for the next 5 to 6 years) from the pharmacy and take it in to the doctors office and then it can be given. So she didn't get it today like the doctor originally thought she was going to. Stupid Red Tape!!!!!!
